Maintain Production and Quality Standards
Perform maintenance and repairs on equipment, tools and machines
Perform PM on machines and equipment
Build/weld material used for production needs
Replace/Repair equipment and tools
Follow all safety rules, JSA and work instructions.
Perform all duties in a safe manner.
Active member of the production performance team
Fix unsafe conditions
Follow all environmental policies
Required to manage plant waste materials, including hazardous wastes
Must understand and follow waste management requirements for handling of hazardous, nonhazardous, universal and other wastes
Must understand and follow DOT hazmat requirements for the packaging of said material
Required to participate in annual waste management training
May be responsible for rendering waste materials for shipment and signing uniform hazardous waste manifests
Must be able to troubleshoot and repair CNC controlled equipment
Must have experience and training with facility electric (480 VAC/ 3 phase). including machine installation and electrical construction.
Required Skills
May rotate to other departments and duties as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Required Experience
Must have 5 years of demonstrated industrial maintenance experience.
High School education is a must, Trade or Secondary certification in Industrial Maintenance Preferred.
Experience with machine and fixture fabrication including welding, lathes, milling machines, and standard shop tools.
Must have job knowledge in the following Industrial Maintenance areas: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Motor Circuits, PLC''s, VFD''s, AC/DC Drives, HVAC, Pipe Fitting, Industrial Power Presses, conveyor, and lifts.
Must be able to read Blueprints and Schematics as well as all shop measuring tools
Ability to read and process shop work orders and documentation a must. Must have familiarity with CMMS software.
Strong computer skills a must.
Must have a strong attention to detail.
Must have good team work/communication skills.
